Wayside Wonder Days

Auditions are being held for the following roles:

ED – Zack’s father, mid-to-late 60s, successful businessman, retired. Man of few words, but very clear when he speaks. Loves his son, but makes no excuses for him. Think ‘Bruce Willis/Ed Harris/Tom Skerritt.’

Kim – 30s, single mom, works two jobs including cocktail waitress at Zack’s family’s bowling alley, recently moved back to Newark, Ohio with her son, Justin, romantic interest for Zack.

Evan – 42, Zack’s best friends from High School, former star high school quarterback, Evan relocated to L.A. and owns a successful Karaoke bar. Good looking, smart and hip. Please submit all ethnicities.

Justin – 10 to 12 years old, Kim’s son, shy, smart, bullied at school, looks up to Zack as a father figure, pivotal role in the film, big supporting part.

Individuals invited to audition will be notified via email by August 13, 2013
Submission does not guarantee an audition
Submissions must include head-shot/resume (demo reels are encouraged, but not required)

Auditions will be held on August 16th from 5:00 to 7:00pm in Heath, Ohio
Audition scenes will be emailed by August 15th
SAG Ultra Low Budget Contract, union and non-union may apply
