Exciting volunteer opportunities await you with the 13th Annual Hollywood Film Festival (HBFF) which takes place October 2-6, 2013 in Hollywood, CA. HBFF is now accepting applications for volunteers for the 2013 festival. HBFF is nothing, if not for the efforts of all the volunteers that come together to make it happen.

Volunteering with HBFF is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Meet other dedicated volunteers and interact with HBFF staff, filmmakers, sponsors, and the movie-going public. You also have the opportunity to learn about the film industry. We can promise you an invigorating experience with an opportunity to learn, grow, and be inspired by the event and its atmosphere.

Each year HBFF relies on the help from close to 100 volunteers, in every department. Whether you have years of experience or are just joining us for the first time, we welcome your help and support. Volunteers are needed before and during the 5-day Festival for a variety of positions, weekdays and weekends, so you’re sure to find a slot that fits your schedule and interests.

Volunteers are needed to perform a variety of duties, including:

* Pre-festival work (invitation stuffing, preparing/arranging materials)
* Greeting and registration of filmmakers and special guests
* T-shirt and poster sales
* Distribution and tabulation of audience ballots
* Distribution of festival brochure and feedback forms
* Directing guests between festival venues

Once you have logged some hours of volunteer work, you will have free access to Festival events during your off-duty hours.

It is mandatory that all volunteers attend an orientation/training session. All volunteers must be at least 21 years old to participate.
