The ladies of the Ohio State University chapter of Delta Zeta are partnering with Black Chick Media to screen the incredible documentary Girl Rising.

The documentary seeks to embolden women primarily through showing women who have had to overcome an uphill battle to educate themselves in their countries. There are powerful testimonials of girls who are taking action and asserting their right to learn.

After the screening, there will be a brief discussion courtesy of Nicole Nieto from the OSU Multicultural Center.

The film will be screened in the U.S Bank Conference Theater on Tuesday, Nov. 5th at 7pm (doors open at 6:45pm).

It is open to all OSU students (bring a valid Buck-ID).
