Hello everyone! It’s me thefakesamjoseph. How have you all been? I’ve missed you all! Luckily, it’s that time of the year again when all of the stars gather together in their best designer gowns and strike their best pose on the red carpet. Some of them even win an award too. Everyone knows the Golden Globes kick off the 2016 awards season by celebrating the best in film and television. It’s only natural that I kick off 2016 on Black Chick Media with some Golden Globes fashion and winners highlights right? Let’s get started!
My top three best dressed of the night are in no particular order, but my first selection is none other than the beautiful and talented Viola Davis. She literally shined last night in her Marchesa gown that she styled perfectly with Jacob & Co. jewels, Stuart Weitzman shoes, and a Judith Leiber clutch. While she didn’t win the globe as I had hoped last night, she was an immediate fashion winner in my eyes as soon as the stepped onto the red carpet.

-Viola Davis
My next fashion winner was also the winner of the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a TV Series, Drama. Taraji P Henson looked elegant and sophisticated last night in her custom ivory silk Stella Mccartney dress she paired with Kimberly McDonald earrings set with Gemfields Zambian emeralds and a gold chain Falabella clutch. While she may have risked train of her dress being stepped on a few times, I think payoff from her bold fashion risk was worth it.

My next fashion winner surprised me with her Golden Globe win last night (though it was well deserved) but she didn’t surprise me with her fashion game. Kate Winslet looked classy as usual in her figure hugging Ralph Lauren Collection gown she adorned with glitzy Neil Lane jewelry. The color paired well with the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for her work in Steve Jobs.
