And we’re back!  Promoting the next show from PAST Productions Columbus.  Get ready for The Trip, written by Chrystal Rhodes and staring Lisa Shepherd, Patricia L Winbush, Vicki Saunders and Deborah Macklin. It will be directed by Truman Winbush.  What could possibly happen when four friends set out on a cross country road-trip?…It won’t be boring, that’s for sure.

For nearly fifty years, Melissa Gardner and Andrew Makepeace Ladd III share their hopes and ambitions, dreams and disappointments, victories and defeats through regularly sent letters and cards. While Andrew’s political star rises until he achieves his dream of becoming a U. S. Senator, Melissa succumbs to despair over the struggles of being an artist.

This play, which was premiered at the New York Public Library, is in the form of an epistolary and is performed as a reading.
