Standing Room Only Theatre Company and A&B Theatricals Present The Lost Traveler in the Multiverse!

Standing Room Only Theatre Company and A&B Theatricals presented their first rehearsed reading which will be staged in the Van Fleet Theatre of the Columbus Performing Arts Center, 549 Franklin Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215.

The Lost Traveler in the Multiverse tells the story of a physicist who works with String Theory, the notion that there are alternative universes wrapped within the one we consciously experience. This idea gradually emerges in the multiple possibilities that face the protagonist as he retires from his teaching position in a university physics department and begins to live through them. He embarks on adventures into other dimensions in a dream form that allows him to live all the possibilities.

All the roles are doubled with the exception of the protagonist. This comedy addresses the basic questions of identity and how the choices we make ultimately help to shape it. The Lost Traveler in the Multiverse is a world premiere production by Theatre Roundtable Award winning playwright Bill Cook and directed by Joe Bishara. The cast includes Ralph Scott (Retiring College Physics Professor), Josie Merkle (Ellen) and Mary Beth Griffith (Young Ellen).

The Lost Traveler in the Multiverse opens on January 9 and January 10, 2015.

Showtime’s are 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9 and 8:00 p.m. Saturday, January 10.
