Welcome, Shaneqa Harper!

Shaneqa Harper, a Columbus, Ohio native, is an alumna of Miami University of Ohio, where she received her Bachelors of Arts and Science in African and African American Studies, and where she is currently pursuing her Masters in Jazz Pedagogy. Shaneqa’s passion is deeply rooted in music and culture; she is an actress, model, and vocalist, and is known for being outspoken, a constant student and natural leader to the world and people around her. She believes that there is music and a lesson within every experience.

Shaneqa has traveled to Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa, and for two years has been traveling the United State with the stage play Transition. Coupled with her love for the arts is her love for humanity and giving a voice to the underrepresented. Shaneqa is excited to work with Black Chick Media to continue to build this vehicle toward giving Black Chicks the platform and exposure they so deserve in the arts. All is fair in love and the arts!
